For a customer from RAC I have created VMware Postgres appliance to test pgpool-II middleware.
Installation consisted of two virtual machines, master and slave, so load balancing, replication and connection pooling could be tested.
Images created under Windows XP host had to be converted with VMware converter before running them under Windows 7 host.
