I had finished working on integrating publicdrum.org events with Eventful and Yahoo Upcoming through API calls.
Eventful was an easy one but I had problem, still unsolved, with Yahoo Upcoming API. I the details on their support but got no helpful answer from them, despite few other people complaining about similar issues...
My feeling is that their POST support is simply broken, shame they can not confirm this.
All three sites have their own categories for events as shown in table below.
